Superior Hiking Trail Association - The Superior Hiking Trail Association is a member supported non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide the human and financial resources to build, promote, maintain, protect and preserve a hiking trail along the ridgeline of the North Shore of Lake Superior. American Trails - American Trails is the only national, nonprofit organization working on behalf of ALL trail interests. American Trails' members want to create and protect America's network of interconnected trails. We support local, regional, and long-distance trails and greenways, whether they be in backcountry, rural, or urban areas. Our goal is to support America's trails by finding common ground and promoting cooperation among all trail interests. We're involved in everything from training trails advocates to providing increased trail opportunities for individuals with disabilities. National Transportation Enhancements Clearinghouse - The National Transportation Enhancements Clearinghouse (NTEC) porvides timely and accurate information necessary to make well-informed decisions about transportation enhancements. Rails to Trails Conservancy - The largest rails organization in the United States, and the only one devoted to converting unused rail corridors to multi-use trails. Trails and Greenways Clearinghouse - The Trails and Greenways Clearinghouse provides technical assistance, information resources and referrals to trail and greenway advocates and developers across the nation. Services are free and available to individuals, government agencies, communities, grassroots organizations and anyone else who is seeking to create or manage trails and greenways.

It calls itself "an important component of our work to build more sustainable communities." NWF Backyard Wildlife Habitat - The Backyard Wildlife Habitat program was begun in 1973 by the National Wildlife Federation to encourage individuals who garden for wildlife. The program encourages everyone - homeowner, teacher, community leader - to plan their landscape with the needs of wildlife in mind. More than 27,445 sites are certified in the program, including many in the Fox Cities. WE BIKE, etc. - WE BIKE, etc. is a consulting company located in Green Bay, Wisconsin that specializes in the areas of engineering, education, enforcement, and encouragement for walking, bicycling and healthy communities.
